Also, if you can mess around the devtools and determine how the video is handled by the browser, you may be able to write a recipe and submit it to the repo for inclusion. If you aren't interested in making recipes, you can just pip install youtube-dl. You can actually download whole playlists on youtube and possibly others, but I have only tested playlists on youtube. This is going to be great. I can normally grab it from source and rely on a converter. Unfortunately, this and my usual method is not working.

In chrome you need to install FreeVPN and set location to United Kingdom, then you need to register for free account on channel4, with a fake UK address, after that you will be able to watch the videos for free. Their solution is 3 years old. I tried but unfortunately does not work with channel4. I know it is possible because someone downloaded 10 episodes to prove that it can be done, but they did not want to show me how they did it.
